This piece's structure and color values are its strongest assets. The treatment of light and shadow is impressive, and the way the color builds up into the various forms and shapes in this is piece make it a really crisp, professional looking painting. The heterochromia on the character standing upright really blows me out of the water, it's just so captivating. The lights that are bouncing around behind the characters matches the two eye colors of that character, blue and orange. The blue and orange light is also reflecting on the skin and clothes of the characters, and it's beautifully done. There's something strange that's throwing me off about the collarbone region, one clavicle is more solidly defined than the other, making it look bigger on one side. The only other thing working against this piece is that the one lying down looks unfortunately drab compared to the one standing. I'm not sure why that is, since he's the one with all the vibrantly colored tattoos. It may be because his hair seems like it's getting lost in the colors of the blue shirt it's next to. Anyway, overall the technique is top notch, and the subject matter is gorgeous too!
